Mt. Calvary of the Pentecostal Faith Church is a charismatic worship experience under the leadership of our senior pastor, Pastor David Grissom. We are a church determined to build up people through love, prayer, and the Word of God. Pastor Grissom has vision and vitality for this ministry. This is a church that's built on prayer. "Bring your shouting shoes and wear your garment of praise."

Welcome to Mt. Calvary's website. I am so glad you are here! I know that some of you are visiting us from a distance, and some local. I hope you will spend some time browsing our website to get a better sense of our church and what we believe.
We are a church in the community that believes in the power of God and fellowship. We are excited to connect with you and help you find your place with Jesus Christ. I believe every person on this earth has value and worth in Christ, no matter what you've endured or your circumstance(s). You are on the mind of Christ. He loves you more than you can imagine.
If you are in the area, we would love for you to come out and be a part of our worship services every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM and prayer every Monday at 6:30 PM followed by Bible Study at 7:00 PM. It is my prayer that the services will enrich your life to help you continue in the ways of the Lord.

Pastor David Grissom is the senior pastor of Mt. Calvary of the Pentecostal Faith Church. He is also an identical twin to his brother, Daniel Grissom.
Pastor Grissom was called to preach the Word of God on March 10, 1981. He was installed as pastor of Mt. Calvary on June 27, 2010, under the tutelage of the Late Pastor Janie M. Wilson.
Pastor Grissom is married to Lady-elect Melissa Grissom. Together they have three daughters, one son-in-law and one granddaughter.
Pastor Grissom has a great passion for souls. His desire is to see all souls come to Christ. He is concerned about the "total" man. His prayer is for each one to be whole spiritual, naturally, physically, mentally, and structurally.

Elder Roper was appointed youth pastor of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Faith Church's Children's Ministry in 2010 by the senior pastor, Elder David Grissom. She studied music throughout high school and college but had a passion to work with children. Youth Pastor Roper is blessed to be the mother to 28-year-old Min. Jayquana Miller and mentor mom to 16-year-old Ms. Natalijah Thomas. She is currently pursuing her theology degree at Screven Memorial Bible Institute under Jameson Schools of Ministry & Theology.
Youth Pastor Roper will continue to encourage them to DREAM, create, worship, pray, praise, and play. (Bring balance to their spiritual life by teaching through games and people to people skills through group teachings.) This will prayerfully inspire them to be witnesses to their peers in their homes, schools, churches, and communities. She is committed to teach, love, protect, council, defend, and advocate for the integrity of the youth. With much love and many prayers, this will continue to motivate them to touch the lives of previous, current, and the NEXT GENERATION!!
